Does anyone know if the Weston PD plans on upgrading their radio system to digital? About a year and half ago I heard that they were thinking about upgrading their radio system but haven't heard anything since.

I'm sure Putting up that radio and are working on an upgrade Maybe weston PD should talk to New Fairfield and see how their Tait system to a Tait digital system Fire and....
Their system right now seems pretty good.

There are a lot of good places you are not irreversibly butchering your original radio and also have access to any cutting edge technology hidden right in the trunk.

They have the uhf but there are issues.
So if.they go that route then maybe they would upgrade the system.
There was a quick story about them testing a dual band radio.
For the narrow banding.
I have an 8fg and its a very good radio but can be complex to set up models with but saying that you can do so much with it!!!! Good quality feel in the hand too!! Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk

I've never lost a model to a radio failure or signal loss, ever! The signal works.
Futaba all the way i have been using a 10c.
