We have some x, y start point and some circle radius. We have some engen that can create path from bezier curve points. How to create circle with Bézier curves?

Unfortunately you can not, but yes you can approximate to a circle by using bezier curves.
I've created a "blob" shape by patching cubic Bezier curves together (screenshot below). I'd like to be able to detect the situation where a curve has crossed over either itself or another curve and was wondering if there's a recommended approach or known...

Then for each of those....
It wont help the function above.
Of course that would help in the case where the parts that overlap are part of different curves.
curves that make up your curve in pairs to see if there is a solution in [0,1].
How would an algorithm work that achieves this goal? EDIT: For clarification: The radius of the circle and the size and shape of the area are arbitrarily given. The area should be covered with as few circles as possible. The circles may overlap.

And place a circle with the centre at each vertex of the triangle, with the radius half the length would waste the minimum area using....
Of curves then the smallest radius will define the size of the largest circle that can be used.

Hi. What is the minimum (or suggested minimum) radius for a 6 axle locomotive.(HO) I have two areas that have 22" curves, and I'm sure these are fine. I am more concerned with the majority of my curves which are 18" Thanks-

I've run Athearn locos as big as SD40-2's and SDP... .
"smaller" would be SD7-SD35.
Or suggested minimum) radius for a 6 axle locomotive.(HO) I have two areas that have 22" curves22" is usually minimum radius for smaller 6 axle locomotives.
I like to plan the supposed routes of my fictional railways using Ordnance Survey maps but it is hard to find information on the curvature of prototype railways. Many books refer to 'sharp curves' without telling you what those curves actually are. About...

The curve radius curves.
Check rails can be found on curves of radius greater than 10 chains.
Is below 8 chains.
This is my first post on this site, so I aplogise in advance if this question has been asked before. I'm currently in the process of designing a Scale 7 layout based on the old Hull & Barnsley Railway c.1910. Amongst my locomotive fleet will ultimately...

It is amazing how tight a radius you can get a loco to go radius that a model 0-8-0 locomotive could negotiate.
And then build your loco to go round the curves.
Ok I'm building a 4 lane track on a door and making it portable with Aurora lock and joiner screwed down. I only have 9" and 6" radius curves. Is this going to be too difficult of a track for casual racers? I was going to do something similar to an oval...

Is this going to be too difficult of a track in the corners, reversing them so everyone has equal lane length, using only these curves.
I only have 9" and 6" radius curves.
And joiner screwed down.
Am I alone wondering why there is so little available for flat corneas?

Base Curves, on the other ....
Gepsteinod 8.9, 9.0 base curves would power.
I fit about 200 new patients per month.
Have have a 0 base curve, like Wendy94 asked? 8.9, 9.0 base curves would be useful in high perm% of my total.
Toying with the traditional Vlog format...also realized this is a good chance to see how I 'pick a line' and discuss why. I'm a big believer that riders get hypnotized by riding in one wheel track and that can lead you to danger. Better to be fully involved...

I try to vary them, so I'm used to running curves in different ways There's actually a better picture of lines through curves on page 53 of lee Parks book [Note: very good book are on a decreasing radius....

Are all ok on 9 inch radius curves (including reverse-curves) in the case of the first twoDP1 manages 1st radius, Black 5 also manages 1st radius fine, not had any problems with stanier with the smaller wheeled bogie....
