A big raw knuckle bone is fine....
But they will wait until one is done and then move in on their bone!!!! I still give raw marrow bones, I give him those big pig bones (you can buy anywhere) all the time.

I have been giving my dog raw bones recently for the first time. Today the butcher only had a knuckle bone is this okay? Jake is a medium sized dog ridgeback boxer cross. Thanks

If you are worried about teeth, until he gets all the meat and a good bit of sinew and cartilage off it, and all the marrow or that it might be a bit too much....
With a bit of ridgeback in him who can make powder out of marrow bones.

Raw ingredients/ratio Need some help from those of you who feed raw for comments on this menu. I'm not going to feed 100% raw.. more like half.. I'll probably be feeding raw in the morning and kibble at night, but here's my menu:
