In a cottage in the Cotswolds and had a "proper" Rayburn, a woodburner, and as wood was free a different result so i`m afraid the answer is what works best for you, with the rayburn it will take quite will need is a "normal" cooker....

Hi, I won a Rayburn on eBay for £170 which I think was a bargain.
It's local to me and I'm going on Thursday with my trailer and four mates to "pick it up" hopefully not literally (I have a winch on my trailer.)

Can anyone tell me if i can plumb a heat accumulator tank to my old solid fuel rayburn?
The reason i ask is i burn wood on it at the moment, but it wont stay in for the night. It leaves our house cold in the morning, and so we would like the abillity ...

The boiler output on the SFW212What Rayburn do you have? I see no reason why you can't, I think that's a prime example of what pressure flue fan to keep it drawing....
Are heated by the Rayburn its self or the Little Wenlock wood stove.

Hello,
Can I ask anyone for their opinion on which wood burning ranges are worth buying. It will require to have a central heating boiler, will be fired with wood and heat 200m2 of single glazed poorly insulated house.
Am not a purist so it doesn't need...

Well we have a Rayburn 355SFW which we purchased from Homatech in Bordeaux http://www.homatech.fr solar panel that heats the hot water throughout the summer months when the Rayburn isn't running.

So far I'm very pleased with the D.S.Machine's wood boiler that I'm using at least 1/3 less wood....
There isn't any doubt in my mind that a lot of wood and coal burning experience talent has helped design and manufacture their products.

Hi all
This is my first year with a wood burner and I'm slightly surprised how much I burn, my stove is rated at 3 to 7 Kw and its heating a smallish 3 bed bungalow which is fairly well insulated .
If I have the stove on all day I use about 5 wheely bins...

Rayburn is on 24/7 for....
Between the two we get through have had a Rayburn and log burner for 3 years now, averages out at about 15 cube for the whole year.
The Rayburn is a recent installation.
We have a Rayburn and a stove.

I understand that if you spend a 1/10 of your income on energy then you are in poverty. but If I were to do all my cooking on a wood fired rayburn with hot water and had a wood burning stove then I would expect to spend at least 1 day a week winter and...

There's only a finite amount of wood out there that's useable in a relevant time scale, so.
Could have been working and adding to your income instead of gathering/processing wood.

A gravity wood burner can be hitched up the same way.
Simple.
The new boiler is the lead boiler, the Rayburn is held
off by a pipe thermostat so only operates cylinder stat(s) switches in both
boilers.
