My family is thinking of moving to France and as we (currently) have very, very limited french, we want to base our search for property in areas where the local french schools are used to the inital fumbling and ruination of their mother tongue by English...

I have some french letters (é, è, à...) in a django template but when it is loaded by django, an UnicodeDecodeError exception is raised.
If I don't load the template but directly use a python string. It works ok.
Is there something to do to use unicode...

When translating, you always want to translate into your native language .
If a non-French speaker reads French.
Leave the source code as is.
