I'm still hoping for an answer on how to eliminate the exception... .
The "ignored" part is from the shutdown system, and might get its wording improved sometime, per Issue 6294 .
It seems to be an exception in a shutdown function registered by the shelve module .

Browsers....
Inline elements can only contain other inline elements and cannot contain block elements .
That's because your HTML is invalid.
That's asking for trouble.
You should not wrap block elements/tags (like <div> ) in inline tags (like <a> ) .

Is this a laptop, or is CPU power saving enabled... .
Speculation:
Maybe power saving is kicking your CPU to/from a lower power state .
Jumps on the Y axis seem to be at a fixed frequency on the X axis .
