OK, as I still have long-term visions of someday updating major rather than minor sections of my sci-fi website, I thought I would try something new: a series of "official" threads where I ask for people to input their ideas of what a particular technical...

Presumably the ship aims a sensor beam: they were able to focus an intense sensor beam on a relatively small volume of space in search of particular by a subspace sensor.
For the emission spectra of a particular material.

If you're going from a really old windshield to a new one, be prepared for the sensor to take some timeThis picture is the rain sensor with lens snapped in for reference.

Just a dream , but maybe it could become reality.
Imagine that Leica announced a new sensor. Full frame , which could be placed in the M9, like putting a new engine in a old car. Not a new M10 but a M9 upgrade.
New sensor with new better ISO for instance...

They might sell you a whole new sensor.

I'm in Brisbane and the engine shop where I work would be able to add the sensor bungs for you if you really wanted to pay what the job is worth.

I bought a display camera. It had been the display for about a year, out in the open, but without the lens mounted. I think people mistook it for a fingerprint scanner since the sensor was a full of fingerprints, dust and general gunk. It was cheap and...

A really strong 'dust' enhancement is to create a blurred image from the original and use it as a flat, I did the simple thing, an auto....
More exotic things like unsharp masking + contrast adjustments will really bring up the dust.

I think that having an N preference is constantly overhyped individuals then I don't think there'd be a sensor bias at all.
There's not much sensor bias, really.

...and dust really shows up in pictures when you venture above f11 - that's when I make the decision to break out the cleaning equipment! Dust becomes fairly large grey spots when the aperture is small (high f-stop).

These chopsticks taper at the end which makes it easy to reach the edge of the sensor.
I've come to the conclusion that pec pads aren't.
I cleaned the sensor some more.

To be honest, I never imagine MFT can be this good being 40% smaller than APS-C but seeing is believing. High ISO up to 3200 or 6400 is indeed comparable.
But there are other factors which may be even more important like dynamic range that cannot be easily...

To me, it's only an advantage if 1) it's really smaller and 2 sensor sizes), thus it's not really a wider aperture.
To having a smaller sensor and more DOF.
