I am going to be getting allitle $ to put into my 72 dart and am wondering if my 7 1/4 rear end woulkd hold up to 455hp and 500 lbs torque if babied. I dont have enough to get a motor and a rear end and am trying to do things in order but the conflict...

What is the difference between a 6 cyl gremlin rear versus a v8 gremlin rear? I have asked this before with different answers ...BUt what mods are to be made to put a 69 amx model 20 in a 79 spirit.. Thanks

God damm it!

Unless your car is a complete pile, it just makes more sense to get it dealt with correctly .

Call it in, report it to the insurance company, get a reference number, take to a reputable shop and tell them to fix it .

Parts needed....
For 500.00, I installed new axle seals and fluid, painted the rear end and axles and it swapped out.
Question 2, I bought a stock SRT rear end center chunk, axles and rear d.s.
I'll know more later.

I've got a 3.36 rear end available, but it's not a Sure Grip.
Unless you have put a later rear end in your 56, as no 56 to my knowledge had a Sure-Grip diff on.
That will not interchange.

I weighed it and this is what....
The Nikon grip is while the knock-off is not.
That's the main difference - you should be able to tell if it's metal .
The rubber on the grip is not perfectly cut and you can tell that it's all plastic.
