To my surprise my prevacid rebate showed up in the maili have been on hold....
My friend got the same thing yesterday.
I read somewhere that the $2 check is because of the extended wait for the rebate check check.

I was informed that they were instructed to accept the Costco rebate forms.
In addition, the person I spoke with said he rebate processing company.

Yuck that sucks! I'm going to be so mad if I only get what my oop was!!! I called and spoke to 2 different people who told me that I would get the full price of the item that I purchased minus the $4 coupon. grrr!!!

My wife and I have both submitted rebates in early December and have not received any updates or notifications. There does not seem to be a way to track rebates status online. Further, it seems that the customer service reps can not check rebate status...
