When my Media Center was new the Recorded TV loaded in a flash, but now with about 750GB of recorded material it takes about 5-10 seconds to display. The slowdown has been gradual as more material has been added to the library.

I have been able to record two HD streams while watching a third and never) and pointed the TV Recording....
I have over a TB in recorded, likely not a drive issue.
A similar spec'ed but not quite as fast machine (Core 2 Duo 1.8) .

Seems to be 59/29hz bug....
I've seen two things that had an impact with it .
I get the same thing with me GT430.
Is it on 1080i channels? Sounds like the 59/24 bug .
I think its fixed now, I went back to 280.26 drivers and I haven't seen any flickering yet .

Assuming you want to record from your DVR, you must play the shows back and insert the DVD recorder between the TV and the DVR.

With the recorded TV (if you want to add new recordings to the drive), or to Tasks\Settings\TV\Media LibrariesIn WMC either go to Tasks\Settings\TV\Recorder Storage and change the drive to the one.
