Hi,
I have made an update statement in a table in sql 2008 which updated the table with some wrong data.
I didnt have a backup for the DB.
It's some important dates which got updated.
Is there anyway where i can recover the old data from the table.

If you really want to recover....
The data may still search should give you a plethora of software that can try to recover the data, but it's not 100% sure to get them back.
It depends on what happened to the files you're trying to recover.

When I reinstall Windows XP, by mistake I deleted all five partitions. I dit not format them yet though .
So how can I recover this? When I attach the hard disk to another PC it just sais that the partition is unformated would you like to format it.

If you are trying to recover data , try putting the drive into a USB converter and access to recover files on broken bootable drives on numerous occasions.

I have a 500GB hard drive I've been keeping around to recover data from that I removed from a failing NAS drive that got sort of... erratic at the end. I finally got rid of the NAS when during a firmware update it removed the partition table.

So I re-ran MBRWiz /Wipe=head and /Wipe=MBR to get back .
The Windows repair process had written some odd data to the partition table.
Nothing else was damaged.
