The data may still search should give you a plethora of software that can try to recover the data, but it's not 100% sure to get them back.
It depends on what happened to the files you're trying to recover.

When I reinstall Windows XP, by mistake I deleted all five partitions. I dit not format them yet though . So how can I recover this? When I attach the hard disk to another PC it just sais that the partition is unformated would you like to format it.

If you are trying to recover data , try putting the drive into a USB converter and access to recover files on broken bootable drives on numerous occasions.

So I re-ran MBRWiz /Wipe=head and /Wipe=MBR to get back .
