Think of it as a day off the bike....
Keep in mind that a recovery ride is just to keep your legs spinning.
IMO a recovery ride should be 60-75 minutes, 90 minutes max.
Same but on the trainer watching tv.
Of zone 1, no higher.

Just had a little look and found one called Recovery Record - there are tons of recovery apps, I didn't realise! It doesnt look too bad for someone who's actively engaged in/maintaining recovery and forth with a clinic on it.
