I had was daily radiation for six weeks along with chemo - to shrink a rectal tumor (this is not usually done for colon tumors)
There has been good success shrinking rectal tumors with this combination shrunk, I have much less rectal....

Not sure what stage of rectal cancer I have but will know more tomorrow. Doctors plan is to do laparoscopic surgery. Removing most of the rectum and hooking the colon to whats left.
He will also be removing the blood supply to the rectum...
