I worked at a mill that used the pecky western red cedar for paneling eastern red cedar....
Running/needing little work.

I am working on a project that the owner requested me to renew the Red Cedar aroma.
Is there any such thing as a Red Cedar oil that can bring back the original aroma?
Thanks
Ed

Pretty big red cedar Eagle I'm working on. Can't see it, but it's pretty detailed. Got some rot I am having to repair in the middle, but I have it under control I think. A lot of these big eastern red cedars are pithy in the middle. Attached Images
