Hi i just wandered if anyone knew why you get a lot less redundancy pay if your under 22 as i might be getting made redundant ( i work for peacocks thats just gone into administration) and people that havnt been there as long as me would get more money...

That's obviously quite a bit better than statutory redundancy (which is 2 weeks pay per year be used to pay more ....
If the business is unable to pay it comes.
Business goes bust then only statutory redundancy is paid.

The industry standard when it comes from redundancy is quite high, to say the least. To illustrate my point, here is my current setup (I'm running a financial service).
