Does that mean theres no way to visibly check the ring? Would it be worth trying no way to visibly check the ring....
And removes - it pokes down a hole looking at what I assume is a toothed ring but I'm not sure how to get bearing though.

A buddy found an LQ4 out of an 07 Hummer H2. He wants to do a swap in his T/A. but at what year do they stop using the 24 tooth reluctor ring on the crank shaft. Does the 07 H2 have the 58 tooth ring?

You see the crack on the ring in the first picture that cause the ABS to malfunction.

If you are not getting a warning light the system is ok feeding you a line I think.ABS reluctor on a pug is part of the wheel bearing and the sensor picks up.
From that.They dont have a reluctor ring.

Well we got the Eaton Posi today an I love it already. After the install the ASR and ABS INOP lights are on. The new posi did not have the reluctlor ring on it as the old open differential did. And it sounds like I either need to install a new reluctor...

Without the reluctor ring it probably will throw the codes to flash the ABS and ASR lights away.
Except for putting the reluctor ring around the new posi or pulling the bulbs.
