I've found a bit of rust scattered all over my car, none on the usual spots like the wheel wells and whatnot, but the undersides of the floor pans have pretty rough surface rust.
So I'll list the places the car has rust

Something amazing.Only Aluminum foil and some Coca Cola can really remove rust in no time.I will trythat rust isn't to bad - if it's bad, then muriatic acid is required.

rust mort changes rust to a black inert substance, but you have to get the majority of the rust off....
It bonds to rough surfaces, especially in the sun.
It just "encapsulates" it.
PO15 does not delete rust.

Ok PSB brains trust. What's the best way to remove little specks of surface rust from swingarms, triple clamps etc?
CLR clear? Sandpaper? A scourer? Piss on it?

Next best? Rub with scourer/sandpaper until all evidence of rust has....
Maybe just use a little rust converter before trying sandpaper, ooo and angle grinder will do (depending upon thickness of metal and level of rust) and refinish.

Cleaning down my rifle noticed tiny lil specs of rust colour on certain areas
I tried scrubbing down the area's with an oily rag and such but they didn't really remove them.
I always give the rifle a rub down with oily rag after use, what can I use to...

I was wirewheeling rust and bondo off once.
The cup type brushes work good, the Scotchbrites do too but man they wear out QUICK .
Hours in vinegar will strip any rust and leave clean metal.

I am slowly disassembling a very badly rusted Singer Mdl 99K machine. I do not know how it came to be so rusted but it was seized up tight. I have it freed up somewhat but I will have to totally strip it down to it's last part to totally clean the rust...
