Over some of my program shortcuts and install files, there is an uac icon overlay (blue-yellow shield) and I find them really ugly. Is there any way to get rid of them please?

I closed UAC to see if overlays go away or not. Now it's open. But maybe...

A side effect is that admin icon is....
Just clear UAC icon, make it transparent (and Shortcut overlay at one shot) .
You can find more about it here , but the basic answer is:
Modify imageres.dll .

Does anyone else find it impossible to get the little yellow parts in their Medela pump off? (The little pieces that the membrane goes on and milk flows down thru to get to the bottle.) I have never been able to get them off. I try to clean the parts ...

I agree with the last two posters....If you grab the yellow piece with one finger on front.
I agree w PP twist and pull, ive never had a problem I always remove them each time.
They are under $10 I think.

I've searched on google and the forums, and I was wondering how would I remove the yellow tinted lense from our foglights and replace it with a clear one (where would I find one..) so I can run HID's in my fogs without the color being distorted?

This is likely to be non-trivial to solve in general, but if you have a predictable collections of PDFs (say, all from the same source) then you may be able to hack together a quick solution like so:
install CAM::PDF from CPAN run "getpdfpage.pl my.pdf... .

resize: none;
(and yes I agree with "try to avoid doing anything .
Will not remove the visual resize handle.

I found the following blog post that warns on the issue: http://msmvps.com/blogs/hostsnews/archive/2007/09/13/can-you-spot-the-fake.aspx but doesn't provide any way of removing it.
Id be very concerned if this is on your own server .

E.g., I have an array ( A ) with values and another array ( B ) from which a need to remove values.

You can use the unset(....
To remove a single value use:
unset($array[$key]);
You can of course loop that to do", "blue", "red"); $array2 = array("b" => "green", "yellow", "red"); $result = array_diff($array1 mean by "remove".

Just in case anyone wanted to know how they look
My iPhone doesn't give the bulbs justice. They are pretty yellow as DRLs and as High beams they are ridiculously bright yellow. When off they also give the housing that yellow tint look.
