I, like many other triathletes, don't have an unlimited budget for triathlon gear. The only thing I still really need is a wetsuit.
I have a farmer john style scuba wetsuit. I believe it's 3mm thick (the bottom ) and 4mm on top.
What is the difference...

PM'd I SCUBA, have a few SCUBA wetsuits and a drysuit, and a surf wetsuit.
Oh- you could also rent one for the day.
A proper wetsuit.

Beginners should take advantage of renting boards and wetsuits while taking lessons.
The best wetsuit for someone who wants to learn to surf is one rented from your surfing instructor.

I'm looking for a cheap wetsuit for this summer. It will only be used for about one OWS and a few training swims so not wanting too spend much.

I snagged a brand new Profile Designs Bionik 2 wetsuit off of ebay, It was $99 wetsuit's.
It's on sale and really like it.
I have had great success using an Xterra Vortex fullsuit as an entry level wetsuit.

Apnea suits are a bit difficult to put on and take off but are apparently miles better than wetsuits not a nylon one form a scuba shop.

Beginner to triathlon and outdoor swimming! Competenat enough swimmer hopefully doing a try / sprint race soon and few this summer.

As far as I'm aware you can rent them for different time periods, I think all of the details are on the website! i believe either lidl or aldi....
You can rent them in cycle superstore....might be a good idea to try one out before you purchase.

Now I just shipping through the end of May.
Made to run in as well and I rented a full for swimming in colder waters during the beginning of the season.
Both are made to be worn under the wetsuit and both have pads for the bike.

You can also make do without a wetsuit, water temperature comparisons with the Austrailan market....
wetsuit being a branded name, there are some good deals to be found in Thailand if you can find some shops seem to stock the branded products.

I might just rent a 5mm.
A 5mm would be 23% less insulation.
Tommy I'd never consider buying a wetsuit without an attached hood of neoprene around the core.
