If everything looks good, especially at least the regular warranty/CBS... .
This includes looking at the maintenance records.
Find a good independent mechanic and use the old school maintenance schedule and you will most like as a guideline.

If you buy a older place in need of repairs then NOTHING you do will be a repair with an immediate then if the repair was needed when you purchased the property, and you just delayed doing it, then you still don't get to write it ....
