No one should profit....
Real rescue in Ontario is rare.
This is called business or a hobby no matter how poor the horses you took in were.
Selling "rescued" horses or ponies to pay for the care of others is not rescue.

They dont of beet pulp and alfalfa cubes to some of my "senior & in need of weight" pastured horses.
My two senior horses have done better on a pelleted feed with 10% fat and the rice bran.

I have a gelding at a boarding....
First thing I did when I got my rescue horses (3 to date) is call a chiropractor.
Search and Rescue horses, at least in my state have to pass.
In the saddle, some tapping should be tolerated.

So a horse rescue is whining that they have to move their horses.
They are being kicked out of the equestrian center where they have been housed.
