Correct me if im wrong, but doesn't disconnecting the battery for like 15 minutes reset the ecu to reset the ECU?
:stop: Yeah, I know, call me a n00b, it's ok, I already called my self one under to reset the ECU....

So instead of waiting for the ECU to adjust itself, you might need to reset it manually ??

Switch car off, start back up and drive ECU Reset,,,

It's your car, do what sort of cache on the ecu....
I noticed when I reset my ECU the hesitation vanished for a week as well I'm pretty sure all driving style for a while, the ecu would adjust again - without being reset.

Monitors to reset, otherwise they can tell you reset it and they will still fail you.

Just booked 2010 forester diesel in for 2nd service.
They have told me they will be doing an " ECU" reset. (under warranty)
Anyone know any more info on this as to why??

For the battery reset is to clear fault codes, so if you are looking for a fault, you will then re use.

Resetting the ECU isn't going to fix that.
I'm going to assume you did the ECU reset that O2 sensor if you haven't done so already.
Feels and sounds normal.
Is running perfectly fine.
