I am graduating soon this summer and really wanted to do EM. I am aware that it's hard to get into EM as new graduate. I did already got job offer in Cardiology since some people said that it may help me to get into EM in the future.

You will never without the procedure log a residency....
I think there are places that will hire a new grad, but a residency increases your chances significantly....what state are you in and where might you want to work? DO the residency.

But again, it doesn't matter what residency program i go to for derm if i just want to be a dermatologist I'd guess that a top residency program - speaking in terms of prestige what field you are in or ....

Not all residency programs in US require a DDS/DMD.

The most desirable residencies go to the best students and the worst to the poorest students.
You do not really get to choose unless you are at the top of your class in medical school .
It is too early to tell.
