It is possible, with the Direct3D9ex, to share resources between devices. Is it also possible to use those shared resources with Direct3D10 devices?

You can share Direct3D9 resources between devices or processes.
SLI necessary it can be done that way.
To share a managed texture on two devices, I don't think this is achievable with any sort of control.

Simply put, the singleton will likely "live" where your caching implementation class lives, as that's the classloader in the hierarchy that "owns" the class .
I haven't been able to test it yet, but I think that this may be the answer .

If you can't ....
Long story short, find the IP of the target machine and try to ping it from the BartPE command prompt .
Could be a lack of connectivity between the PCs caused by wrong network drivers, wrong IP settings, or wrong nameserver configuration .
