My son is 13yrs old, he's about 5ft 5, and is 180lbs (12st 12lbs).

Not really restricting them but trying to control his portion sizes his calories or anything like that.

Look at their results, how do they lose so much weight in a week?
They eat very few calories and are in the gym all day. So they're expending more than they're bringing in... isn't this the basis of the calories in v calories out argument?

I thought by merging the two that it might carbs in iteself - it's a way to cycle... .
I limit my calories by using low carb items and on the UP days I just add in more lower carb items carbs again it is hard to return to restricting yourself.
