Does the front checkering match the back? thanks Front & back are checkered & they definitely match.The Blue Book refers to "machined grip... .
It appears that the front of the grip frame is checkered, I believe it is correct for the back to be checkered .

Use an auto so you can of pressure/stress on the shooter on timed... .
I trained shooting up close (10-12 feet) and point blank, timed drills.
It's not the most accurate way to shoot at first, but with lots of practice you can get good results.

Only negative is resale value.
It holds 8 rounds, is small enough Warranty and good price point plus they shoot accurate.
If I bought a .22 revolver, I'd probably go with the Ruger SP101.
