Help! I bought a Panasonic Rice Cooker (never owned a cooker before) and it called for 1 cup water to 1 cup brown rice.
When I came home (much later than expected) the rice had been on warm for 4 hours...but I have heard that shouldn't make any difference...

Did you wash the rice before putting it in your cooker??? That makes a big difference.

It is Good Here in usa, I use aroma rice cooker boiled/red/ukda rice....
BTW, have you found that cooker? I got Aroma electric rice cooker from Walmart NATIONAL brand if buy in India
Or
Buy Philips....

I have a PC brand rice cooker that a normal rice....
Sometimes i've resorted to canned.
Need to pick up that I'd have to wait for them to soak .

I got a Breville Emporio rice and risotto cooker as a present and it is the best thing to buy a rice cooker there, as a souvenir.

There should be a line in the pot.
Roughly, put 2/3 cup rice in the cooking pot.
It come with a plastic measuring cup? That is used to measure out the rice.
