What do you rather ride on the road a road bike or a mountain bike? I personally like mountain bike dont care about speed still can go from point A to point B fast and comfortable

I ride my Xtracycle with heavy loads all the time and it doesn't have electric power electric assist recumbent bikes ride just fine without the assist if need be.

Yes it is a lot and you can find a good bike for far less but I ride a lot as a mountain ....
I lean more it would be around 3000.
There are different bikes and different prices for each decision.

The governor of Florida just signed into law HB 971, which requires cyclists to ride in a bike lane if it's available.

That still doesn't mean you're 'safe'.
