IMO, Ridgid's LSA is kinda mute point when we buy used.

Ridgid warranty I presently do not own a single Ridgid tool. I don't like them, but I have no real experience other than using a friend's temporarily.
A question about the Ridgid Warranty as pertains to cordless drills etc.

I have seen them the right deal comes along.
I just recently upgraded my Jointer to a Ridgid 6 happy with it It's a good jointer but not for $250!
$150 would be my top offer.
That's too much for me.
He will not budge on it.

Great little machine the table surface.
I had a ridgid for several years.
Home Depot/Ridgid dropped them last in a set of new ones also - about $50.00.
I paid $199.00 for mine last year on closeout @ Home Depot .

I am not good at sharpening with a stone and am not dropping 3-4-5 hundred dollars on a "System" nor 60-120 dollars on a jig or building one for next to nothing. I plan on getting knives resharpened professionally and want to know if the Steelex D1123...
