I have some Sidi Vertigo I use for riding that are great. The only downsize is the thin sole. I use my bike for everything, so I need some around town boots that will hold up to everyday use. Ideas? Thanks

IIRC, the "Oxtar" name had a legal issue and became the TCX brand, with this boot being the equivalent model ....
Here's a review on those boots.
I use an old pair of Oxtar Matrix boots that have worn well and are all day comfortable.

How necessary are riding boots? I'm not racing or anything, just commuting or riding for pleasure.
I'm also vegan so finding riding boots that aren't leather seems to be posing a problem.

I wear my boots everytime I ride riding but I refuse....
Tails are considered on boots and they've lasted me now for at least four years.
Field boot are considered inappropriate when wearing tails.
Or dressage boots.
