Bike shoes are not like running shoes.
One more thing...
There are tri-specific bike shoes but I can't justify having a second pair for the few seconds they might save me in a race.
All I use in training or races.

Well after using both i think mtb shoes for all round riding are the way forward.
no rubbish plastic cleats to wear out,you can walk around easier,save money,jump
from mtb to road bike in same shoes,mtb shoes are more solid and lasting to.
nice xtr spd...

Nike and other shoe makers have shoes labeled for pronation!! Amwrider, I started running with New not try to replace your Ariat insoles by your running shoes ones? It should make a difference.
