I'm looking to buy a Remingtin 1187 Turkey shotgun with a 22" Remchoke barrel. I was thinking that I could use this gun for a deer gun also by adding a rifled choke for shooting slugs out of this same barrel. I was also contemplating buying a fully rifled...

The rifled barrel would come with rifle sights, which might be a consideration in your decision.
And remaining accurate, but like I say I have no experience with them .

There is a reason your muzzle loader doesn't have an HDPE barrel on it.
The costs of a 5" rifled barrel though, better shoot a ton of smiley faces to pay for those the tube.

Is it really worth getting a rifled barrel for my Mossberg 500? were im at im not going to be sniping no 100+ yards at deer. an what i do need tho' is a cantilever barrel for the scope mount.
