I'm looking for a rod tube for a rod build that I'm working on. Need one that will fit a 6'-6" 4pc 2wt fly rod.. Anyone know were I can get one? Don't want to spend a ton!

A cap on one end and a threaded clean out on the other and you have a perfectly functional rod tube found on rod bags is the bags from Cabela's which are Made in the USA REC bags even though they don't a cloth covered rod tube with....

I am new in to 1911s I'm gonna get a rock island armory 5" tactical and I'm gonna get a wilson combat spring kit for it but what I was wondering was how do I go about changing the guide rod to a short guide rod what parts would I need

It functions the full length guide rod to a bullet proof flat-wire recoil spring kit from wilson combat plus I'm going to change out....
It fit, but something is not right.
And Dicided to use 2pic guide rod on wife's RIA.

Ok so I'v decided to turn this "Rat Rod" in to a real hot rod, Here is my 12 step recovery haha. I will be posting update pics throughout the build.

Very important question too, whats the sort of prices for import tax/duty?? Took me a while to track down an answer for you, but the AQX engine code uses 20mm pinned rods.

I'm kinda stuck between post war and early 50's stuff. When I think of interior, I really like the old puffy leather stuff with the aircraft seatbelts. But another side of me really likes the tight tuck and roll to. What's your favorite era and why?

Getting back into the custom rod business.. Is anyone interested in getting a spinning,bass stick,float rod ,UL rod,drop shot rod, fly rod , spey rod , etc...Not right away but soon.. Just checking the interest on this...
