Noise is a problem for developers. Aside from multiple other sources of noise acsending volume ringtones of cell phones left on a desk unattanded are particularly disturbing. Is there some working and easy to employ set of measures against cell phones...

Have you tried asking people to set their cellphones to silence mode?

Me, I use earplugs.
If you're able to communicate with your collegues, you will also hear them breathe .
You always need to balance the pro's and the con's .

Upgraded to the Nokia 6230 in 2004 or so
Moved to another carrier and switched phones....
Damn...some of you change cell phones more often than I change underwear.
