There is no indication that it is not installed....
Although, Bitpim seems to think that it is doing its job just fine .
And I can load my ringtones on the screen, but they don't actually get into the phone and show up in my ringtones in the phone.

@naijafan I specifically mentioned the ngage platform. It's far easier and more lucrative for developers to bring their apps to apple's appstore. Don't forget that all the sdk apps will run on the iPod touch also, so there's a huge installed base waiting...
