Heard back from my dealership, they are ordering another top for me. That's good ! However, I mentioned again that the fix would be to install the required teflon tabs that would stop this from happening again 6 months down the line.
I'm sure they will...

Given your info I've experienced a 100% failure rate with my PS2s, gameboys, and NES.
Not that the 360s don't have problems, but "failure rate.
I wouldn't be surprised if that fails soon.

I'm not a mechanic. Far from it. I'm hearing anecdotes that XIs have higher CV boot failure rates. Is this true, and if so why? I wonder if lower with spring and stiff shocks will lead to higher CV boot failure. Anyone more technically inclined in the...

Too many owners have car but hammering the original axles ripping....
Our XI's don't necessarily have a weak component but like others, should the boot rip the rear shock mount and spine injury may be an affect but not CV failure.
And mileage.
