Are there road legal clipless pedals? Since CA requires white/red reflectors on pedals, and bikes can't be sold without them. I don't recall seeing anything that is compliant.

Bikes that would generally be used with clipless pedals are frequently sold without the pedals so or yellow reflector on each pedal, shoe, or ankle visible from the front and rear of the bicycle has a clipless pedal with front....
BITD, the likes of MBUK (and manufacturers) weighed bikes in their tests without pedals. The reasoning was that pedals are a very personal preference and most people would change the standard pedals that came with a new bike. A lot of even fairly expensive...

I weigh my bikes in the spec I ride them in, pedals included in the weight Manufacturers are known to weigh the smallest frame sizes with no pedals....
You don't ride it without pedals! If they are the ones you will use then its relevant.
On the look-out for a set of SPD-SL pedals, 105 or above ideally, but price is important too (the lower the better! ) What have you for sale?

Works fine for me, road, MUP and improved trail riding mix pedals on....

Unfortuntately, that's not my experience.
Three sets of my pedals creaked relentlessly, though, and the bolts that hold pedal together like for dry conditions.
