I've kept my spd pedals on my road bike but this is a great price for SLs These are great clipless pedals to start off SPD (MTB) pedals and cleats....
With it am I right?
Yes you do, road shoes tend to be quite stiff too.

They will be my first pair of shoes & pedals (using regular runners up to now)
I am not overly fussy about the condition...

Hi all,
I have lots of pedals for sale, for both road and track, with clips & straps and also clipless too. I'd rather keep the ones with clips and straps as they are, although I do have prices in mind for the pedals alone if needs be.
All are available...

You can buy road shoes from DHB and Shimano which accept both road and MTB pedals, so you could switch to those first....
Maybe make the transition as stuff wears out.
As my S-Works road shoes with Speedplay Zero pedals.

Same reason as many: I like to be able too .
SPDs: PD A600's on the road bike and XTR's on the MTB.
I like them for being double pedals.
I reckon a fair number of road bikes out there have MTB pedals on them.
