Some idle pondering..
for lots of reasons (mainly work) I'm overweight, undertrained and will always be a 'complete' rather than 'compete', but I'm fine (ish) with that.
I bought a P2 on ebay last year, got a proper fitting at retul but barely used it...

The road....
On both bikes? For me, the wheels are about half of the drag reduction in going from my road bike to TT on a 7 mile loop on my road bike with TT bars compared to my TT bike.

Looking at getting my first TT bike this season and have been looking at the bikes on offer at Planet X.
Can anyone give me the lowdown on these bikes (Stealth/Exocet 2) and whether they are good for their respective prices or can better bikes be found...

Whilst watching today's TdF time trial I noticed Hincapie's TT bike
looked suspiciously like a rebadged Cervelo P3C --http://www.cervelo.com/bikes.aspx?bike=P3...

Hello everyone,
I'm interested in purchasing my first TT bike this year and I've always used a road bike. I understand that everyone's body type is different so all I'm trying to do is get a general consensus about the size differences between TT bikes...

Tri bikes will have a different geometry, TT (UCI legal ) bikes....
THEN go buy the bike that takes the fewest alterations to fit to brand and many times not even within a brand.
Go get yourself a TT bike fitting.

Good to hear someone who's not necessarily into bikes enjoy it so much.
Even my Mrs got into it and she couldn't careless about anything to do with cars or bikes but then again the movie is about people not bikes Well put.

I'm going to buy a Moda for my next triathlon bike and I've sat on both the drop bar and TT bar-end shifter version of their Interval and Sharp bikes. I think Moda must be onto something here; is a proper TT geometry bike with drop handlebars plus spacers...

As you already have a nice road bike I'd be going for the straight TT....
76 degrees for the same effort.
bikes that half way between a road bike and some of the steeper Tri/TT bikes.

I have signed up for a 150mi charity bike ride in May, so I'm really adding the biking miles to be ready.
My question is regarding my two bikes and the final outcome.
Bike #1 - Roadie. Currently locked into the trainer with a dedicated training wheel....

But my bike coach said to ride the TT bike if I'm training much which saddle.
Roadie, so happy to ride that for now.
