VW Roadside Assistance is only available for 3 years/36,000 miles, on a new car, correct?
If I got the extended warranty, 7 year/100,000 miles, would I then get Roadside Assistance for this length of the warranty?

roadside assistance companies have you pay at the time then get reimbursed.

Well, your first mistake was not calling a dealer when it wouldn't start, they should have sent out a tow and covered it under warranty.
HOG is a separate entity from Harley corporate.
But there are more far more things that HOG membership gives...
