Nuts and seeds as a class tend to be high in phytic acid, a substance that reduces your ability to absorb the minerals in the mineral-rich nuts and seeds.

How do you do it so that it comes out tender and nutty?
I tried it this weekend and it was hard and dried out. Mistakenly tried to put it in with other things cooking.

I was instructed by my NUT that I should not eat nuts again. There is a high risk of them getting stuck. If a piece is swallowed without being chewed to a pulp then it cannot get broken down in my new little pouch. So...no nuts.
