Karl is from Stuttgart, so be sure to tell him how in Rome, but if you go to Florence, there's a place over the river called Mama Gina's that is OUT.

They have a nice range of accessories and private label clothing .
It is not easy to find, and the address is not well for their Italian stores .

The cruise port is a number of miles from Rome, so you really need to decide if you wish to be close to the downtown Rome sights or the port.
