Hey everyone!
I'm just starting out in the AK arena, and I'm eying a Romy G kit to do my first build. However, the fever is spreading, and I'm also wondering if the Yugo M70B1 or the Hungarian AMMS all matching parts kits are worth their premium price...

Matching numbers is one of those things that people look... .
However, the fever is spreading it in, but the numbers aren't near as high as the Romy 'G's.

AK "Pistol" kits at Centerfire ... SBR? I've never built an AK from a kit. Centerfire currently has these in stock:

These kits are based on 65 or so romy aks.
I would spend a little more and get a "matching" G kit.

A "higher end" gun when its assembled instead of an egyptian version of a romy G What a pain of bottom of the barrel garbage incomplete parts kit.

I recently purchased a stock set which was advertised as a Romanian palm swell stock set. From the pictures, it was a decent looking stock set, however, I had my doubts about it. I communicated with the Seller and he confirmed that it was indeed a palm...

Romy is bottom of the barrel.Bargain to be anal about this stufff - I wouldn't but laminate wood on my early 67 Romy either because Romanian are laminate not hardwood.
Don't gripe..you got the better set of hanguards.

Wood looks....
Here is the the next build, a Polish kit on a DCI receiver which on there for 2 days.
It's an ITM reciever which took quite a bit of "massaging" to get everything, pistol grip, brake, floorplate .
With a Romy G kit.

Don't remember the story on the upper, the grip and lower are from my T3 furniture collection .
