Hi all,
I have already posted that Benny Golson is playing Ronnie Scott's this Tuesday/Wednesday. In addition Lou Donaldson is playing the same venue 28th - 30th May.
I am amazed that both these acts were not sold out weeks ago and I'm pretty disillusioned...

We just got back from a 10 day run for Goulds turkey in Mexico. We went five for five and had an absolute ball. On this video watch as Ronnie Cherington smokes his first Goulds gobbler. The Mothelode Turkey Call was too much...

It was just released, ronnie did kill himself with a gun.
fwiw, he bravely battled cancer for a long time,
and i, for one, have nothing but respect for the man.
so...before anyone judges him too harshly, i hope ya never have to walk even a minute in his...
