Hello. I have a Rosetta 800, which has 8 analog in and 8 analog out. The
Rosetta is hooked up to my MBP using the X FireWire card. I would like start mixing down with 16 channels of output rather than 8. Is it possible to purchase an additional converter...

I'm hoping for a rock solid driver in UA's Apollo interface, to connect Rosetta in UA's Apollo interface, to connect Rosetta via ADAT and make 16 outputs with some useful features..

Anybody using these. What's your opinion based on your experience with the current Rosetta line? Just got one to use as ad/da for my mpc 2500.

I use to have an MPC 2500I use a rosetta....
Rosetta 800, with firewire or the 800.
On seeing that its pretty transparent and can be sure the source wont clip .

Haven't really thought of the duet that traded out a r200 or 800 with a used....
I've never heard the Rosetta, but I have compared a Duet 2 with the new Mbox 3, and I think rosetta 200 and putting up a few hundered for a ensemble/apollo.

I have just updated to Pro Tools 10 HD Native and I use a Apogee Rosetta 800 as an interface.
When I load up a session and press play it is silent. Visually Pro Tools looks fine but no sound comes out till I quit and reload the session. It goes silent...

I ordered an Echo AudioFire 12. I got it for my MPC and Fantom. Realized it didn't have ADAT but didn't think I'd want to do more than 12 channels. Got a Virus TI2 I'm paying on now and a Motif rack that will arrive in 2 weeks. Total of 16 ins w/MPC included...

I'm not slagging the Mackie, just saying that it won't be the strongest link Af12 for a lot less than a Rosetta and run 24 distinct outputs out of your DAW for summing.
The AF12 with a Rosetta.

With a new console on the way, I need to double my outputs from Pro Tools HD to 48, and add another 8 or 16 inputs.
