Personally, i like the wide second row seat, both for looks and comfort, and plan to keep the 6 passenger seating my....
The shorter seat is offset to the driver side on 3 row models, kinda like with a minivan.

I am setting up the GQ for the long trips with 3 kids and I need to upgrade the DX seats to something a little more comfy for the rugrats.

I actually use the Prince Lionheart Hard Seat Protector for my son's carseat and it does a good job little cheese goldfish crackers out from between the seat cushions ;-) Ask me how I know Sigs.

Can anyone do that in their car? the problem I see happening is being able to buckle the booster. If it's in the middle the seat pretty much covers the buckle. I've seen a buckle extender that sticks out and the reviews are mostly for use with booster...
