It works! I went with 1/8th of the liquid being rum....
Basically used to cook the rice with some Malibu coconut flavored rum.
Dewar's wiskey, Bacardi rum, Grey Goose vodka, Eristoff vodka, Bombay saphire gin, Martini.

I wanted to make a vodka from some local apple cider. Does anybody know this process? Can i just pitch the yeast straight into the cider or is there a boiling process? Does it help if the cider is already hard or not?

I'm a big dark n stormy fan tho' i love rum, and have heard good things about goslings, but haven't tried double-blind, but we weren't maximally....
Will drink "rum n black" (ie w coke) over dark n stormy, which is seen more as a touristy drink.
