Enjoy the big monitor.
Obviously space is an issue but i presume you've alrerady worked this out .
It will cost more to run than a smaller LCD monitor.
Think of that could be of concern.

Currently I'm still looking for the best monitor for this pad.
The 23" LG IPS236 is looking pretty good for the price but looking at the Cintiq 24HD I see they use a 24" monitor (duh).

Thanks for that, now we have another monitor/screen in the mix time and I'm strongly considering just re-assembling the monitor and getting a fresh 24 the 24" cintiq uses....

Its unlikely you'll find one for under 250 ....
Theres a few 24'' 1920x1200 available on newegg but the cheapest are about $300.
I haven't seen one of those monitors.
A 1920x1200 24" TN? I suspect you're going to be out of luck there.

Thanks Robert and Neil I will have look I use a HP ZR24w IPS monitor outputs but you do need a dual DVI-D enabled graphics card to run it at 2560x1440 resolution

How do I enable higher resolutions on my LG Flatron W1941S monitor (I am Running Fedora 9, KDE 4.2)?
I recently changed my monitor to LG Flatron W1941S. (When I say changed, I mean I just unplugged the older one and plugged in the new one.)
For some reason, I am stuck with maximum screen resolution 1360 * 768.

Maybe try that the monitor is 1400x90....
If not, you may have to change the xorg.conf.
There should be an option in the system setup to change the monitor driver.
The computer is still going off the old monitor's drivers.

I pretend to have a bigger second monitor (24" too) so I can have a bigger, but I wouldn't ....
The menu bar stays of task on each monitor.
On Mac OS: One monitor.
I switch from a 24' to 2x22' and never looked back.
