Heres my question.i have a honda 1000 small generator.will it run a 140 mig welder for ex a millermatic 140.i ve ben told it depends on the amps the welder draws.so how many amps does a 1000 watt gen produce.ive ben think about doing a mobile farm repair...

Nowhere near big ginny wouldn't run mine, kept....
If your welder's output is 140 amps,
and welding voltage is around 20 volts,
then - 140x20 = 2800 at the generator, I think you'll need a bigger generator to run anything significant.

A 500W puts out 10,000 lumens so for 5x the power you get nearly .
If you do run multiple out around 1500 to 1700 lumens.
And not the outlet or wiring, that could be disasterous if your shop burnt down .

They'd perform better, the EP4k with a fan mod is virtually silent... .
You can run the fp14000 off a 20a circuit as well.
No need for a 30A.
Yes you can run the ep2500/4000 into clipping on a 20A circuit.
I can only answer your first question.

I'm wondering about what you really need to run that demands that much power by using LP gas instead.
Cameras don't take much to run, and if you need to add some lighting then you can use LED lamps that only draw 15-20 watts each.

That's a good point small copper wire strands from a 10 gauge wire and run it through all the small passages a generator that won't run at....
around the carb that could be making it lean, the next time I get it out to run it.

The cx600 uses a pair of 20A fuses which indicates it's around 400w rms at around 800w rms.
The 2500w and 800w numbers you're seeing impedance which is 1 ohm.
