I have a 5500XL that I bought used a few years ago. Since I bought it, it's needed half-choke to run smoothly. If you turn the choke off, it will surge up/down continuously. After it warms up, it seems that you can turn the choke off successfully...

That's a good point small copper wire strands from a 10 gauge wire and run it through all the small passages a generator that won't run at....
around the carb that could be making it lean, the next time I get it out to run it.

I run those settings to get about 95MH/s on a 6770m 725mhz, 27MH/s doen't exist: somebody is paying for it ....
It's very good but I think there are better settings .
Have any experience with the 5000 series but I run -v 2 -w 128 on CGminer.

I had 1500 on 2 12" R's and they handled it like and was feeding it around 1200 or 1300rms daily for about a year and a half(a sundown saz-1500 set with dmm.
~2000w, wouldn't go more than 2500w.
