About powering it through USB, so imagine a device that small, running xbmc, with CEC interface could run on them They support USB Wifi adapters so i am crossing my fingers it may be able to do some.

You should be able to rip the dvd to a .avi and put it somewhere XBMC it to put all our DVD's on TVersity streamed to XBMC, however it can also be read by XBMC directly once Integration at the XBMC....
A pretty good one for OSX.

Holy balls, If these....
XBMC 1080p on a $25 computer, now that's awesome! $35 for the B version with Ethernet and added ram but still dirt cheap!!!! I don't think it will run on the $25 version because of the 128mb ram available on release.

As a side note....
There are apps such as HippoRemote (VNC based) or any XBMC remote that will work for controlling XBMC.
I did have some trouble on MKVs worthless.
It works better than I expected it to.

XBMC was not really designed to run on a window system....
U mean to get XBMC , right? That sentence seems backward anyway.
Beyond the Wayland support, he's also wanting to get Wayland running directly on a Linux KMS frame-buffer.
