XLink kai support has been removed from all xbmc4xbox builds newer then and including revision 14099.
2008-07-15 14099 removed: xlink kai.

If you are running it on a windows box i dont think you can run standalone mode.
xbmc for linux can run in standalone mode but cannot play netflix because of the lack stuff? xbmc comes with some prebuilt in plugins.

I read up on the tethered jailbreak, apparently it does not support xbmc yet? Unfortunately I got about NFL, and have NetFlix....
For the ATV to come with 1080p, and now that it does, I can't run XBMC on it (yet).

I've developed an XBMC add-on for DVBlink.
It lists all available channels on your DVBlink Connect Server and streams them to your XBMC.
You can install this add-on in XBMC by downloading it and then going to System - Add-ons - Install from zip file.
