What is the best way of removing rust spots on a kukri blade? I got a Sirupati in a trade and there was some spotting on the blade. Thanks for your help.

Removing rust spots without removing finish? While I absolutely love my Kershaws, the bead blast finish they use apparently does not agree with my body chemistry. The stonewash finish and DLC seem to be fine, but the satin/bead blast finish has developed...

The copper is soft enough it SHOULD not damage the finish .
The blade on the packrat had small rust spotsHeavily lubricate with WD-40 and rub the spot with the edge of a penny.
In the bead blast, but it does not react well to my skin .

Also another thing u need to know is that we do not guarantee rust to get rid of.
It's gonna have by the shop so i can really look at it .
The can't really put a band aid over it.
Rust is like cancer.
I LOVE drive thru bands.

300 series stainless is the one that won't ....
The Tundra exhaust (and most other current vehicles) is made from 400 series stainless which will develop some surface rust.
It probably is rust, but not really anything to be concerned about.
